Rear Parking sensor

Hi all was wondering how easy/difficult it was to change a parking sponsor it’s the one about the exhaust, I have a DSport

I have never changed one out, but I would get the relevant replacement, probably trolley jack up the rear (use axle stands) and swap the existing out. can only be a small cable and unscrew or pushpin the broken sensor

Have you tried just giving it a good clean, or is it damaged?

Thanks for your answer I have now changed the sensor and the fault has gone but now all I get is a continuous beep when putting the car in reverse :-(

Have you tried disconnecting the car battery for a minute or two, as that should have the effect of a rest
