Powered mirrors, have I got them?

Hi, we have just bought a 2018 ex-demo ds3 Inés, the salesman said it didn’t have powered mirrors but the switch rocks back in the central position and I can hear an electrical click behind the door card but both mirrors do not fold or even twitch, is the switch wired as standard even without folding mirror option or do you think I have them but they are not working, thanks, Simon.

Hi and welcome to the club and forum. I can't find a definitive yes or no on this one. The Inés model no longer shows on the DS website and after checking around on a few that are for sale, some show as having electric folding mirrors and some don't. I would've thought if the switch control has a centre arrow pointing backwards towards the rear of the car and there is a click, as you have described, then those mirrors should be folding in. Do they fold in when locking the car with the remote key fob?

Mirrors don’t move when locking the door, it just seems strange that there is an electric click (like a relay) when I move switch to the fold position

That is odd, maybe they just need connecting somewhere? Not sure tbh.

he might have meant you don't have automatic retractable mirrors?
