  • Side Door Trims

    Hi
Do the chrome side trims just stick on? Can you buy them off the shelf and stick them on yourself?

mine are held on with clips- sort of push/slide off

The wife is getting her DS3 this week and it is like plain white on the doors, no chrome, I can’t see any holes or anything if I did want to add a touch of chrome or even black

They are called "baguettes" the chrome side trims
On DS3's with them fitted as standard (I thought all DS3's had them) there are little square holes punched on a straight line about 8 inches apart along the door, with little square clips that push in, and which the chrome "baguettes" fit onto as far as I recall. Been a few years since I took them off to plastidip them.

I will be taking one of mine off over the weekend as it appears loose, so can always up date you if you like

I am sure you can probably buy aftermarket adhesive ones

I’ve found quite a few of the white cars don’t have the chrome baguettes, it just looks like part of the door.

Researching using the search button above, looks like the baguettes are stuck on
Either I had a different version, or getting my cars mixed up. LOL

They are deffo clipped onto RenaultSport Clio's, as ive just removed a side to refurb damage
