  • P2263 Fault Code and Solution on 2013 THP

I bought a 2013 Cabrio THP in the summer on a bit of a whim. I've always like the look of the DS3 and wanted a run around that had a bit of poke to get me around and about as my main vehicle and is a VW Transporter, which is a necessity and large tool box. I realise now that I should have a) done a little more research and b) taken it out on a longer test drive before handing over the cash, for what is a lovely looking little car. In short, it was in storage for many months before I bought it for what I thought was a bargain as it only had 38K on the clock. The misfire was quickly resolved with new plugs but now I feel like I have a new engine under the bonnet after replacing the turbo blow off valve and pressure control valve replacement. Basically the little bleeder kept stalling into limp mode when I was pulling between 2500-3000rpm up an incline and the p2263 code kept popping up. In short I am a happy bunny now and will no doubt keep it for a while as even for a Cabrio it is good fun to drive. I thought I'd just share this solution on here as I found it on a Peugeot forum https://www.peugeotforums.com/forums...-p2263-195386/

Surely you mean for the immense torque aspect. Especially after a remap.

Yes- Airdream 110 Reg year 2012
Ive only driven remapped THPs so trust me, its chuggy. LOL

Revs are low, and acceleration not that sharp.

Yes, drove my mates remapped 110 a few year back after we visited James at SPT and was reasonably impressed

Thing is, its my daily, so throwing £270 at it to increase Turbo pressure has to be considered

Will do the Dealer major service next February, then book it into James I think

I had a fault code P0243 and no turbo boost. I changed the pressure control valve to new (the one under intake manifold). Now I have boost starting around 2500 RPM but now I am getting fault code P2263.But car does not feel at its power as it used to have. I have checked the blow off valve solenoid + GFB that I have and all looks fine.

Why did you change both valves (blow off & pressure control) at the same time?

Hiya apologies for the delayed response.

I changed them both because I read in the Peugeot forum that it could be either that was causing the fault code, so for the cost of the parts I thought that it would be cost effective to do both at the same time. The blow off valve is simple to change. I did notice that it had the scarring that is shown in the photo in the link I posted in my OP.

                Did you have any joy?

Thanks for the answer. I went the same route changed blow off solenoid valve (I also have the GFB diverter) and vacuum turbo control solenoid valve (under intake manifold). Unfortunately now change still have the P2263 fault code after pulling above 3000 RPM. Took the the car to official dealer for service after 5 days of analyzing they concluded that MAP sensor on intake manifold is sending some false info to ECU. We changed to new MAP sensor it keeps sending wrong data to ECU so it did not solve anything. They checked everything wires, connections, vacuum,,,they are also saying that the problem could be the Etuners stage 1 map that I have and they want to upload Citroen original map and remove the tuned map in order to try and solve the issue. I dont feel like paying again for the Citroen map and than again for the Etuners map. Getting tired of this psycho croissant
