Private reg for my ds3

Was gonna get rid of my ds3 convertible in june 19.
But tbh, its been flawless, still looks great, and is fully loaded with tech, + full black leather seats +,
i got the extended full warranty for only £229 per yr, which covers everything, incl the roof mechanism...
And that last till - vehicle been 10 years old or 100000 mile whichever the sooner

It a 15 plate, and was thinking of keeping it for another 2 yr..

Was also thinking of putting a private reg on it - question is, would people think its an old 03 plate car,
or would they have enough sense to see the actual purpose of the plate ?

Loads of people have DS03 plates on DS3s and if you like it, go for it! They came out in 2009/10 so it's not really aging the car, and if people know it's a DS3 they'll see the logic behind the plate.

Sounds like a good plate for the car.

Why would you care if people think it’s an 03 car? If you’re enjoying the car, doesn’t matter what others think IMO.

Yep agreed with Kat and BeefMasta . Get the DS03 prefix plate and I've seen plenty of them on DS3's. They aren't too expensive either. As for people thinking it's an 03 plate car, I wouldn't worry about that, as the people in the know will recognise its significance and those who don't will just say "Bloody hell that's in good nick for a 15/16 year old car!!"

Aside from that if YOU like it, then sod everyone else, it's your car at the end of the day!!

Yeah, echo others, no issues.

Mine is DS17 but that's just by chance, not because it's private but they see the DS element of it and think it's a private plate.

Will give it thought over jan, and see if i go for it in feb..

And it still only got 15,685 mile on the clock ...
I only do around MAX 2000m per yr guys n girls....no, thats not a typo you are seeing lol
If i traded it in now, it worth around £6770, if arnold clark web site is to be believed !

I got it on a PCP..and had it 1yr september past...i can trade it in around the 1.5/2 yr mark, or hand it back, as that will be half/more of the payments paid, so i was told....( 3 yr deal )
So we will see how i feel...keep it, and stick plate on it, or trade it in come around may/june this yr...

I really fancy the proper DS3, you know, one with the full display, but i cant find many 1.6 / full leather vehicles, same as i have now, out there tbh..
Most are the 1.2 versions ( yuk ) and no/part leather..

I would go for a more personal plate that you can take with you if you sell
as said, loadsa DS3 have ds03 as a plate

But if you want to, why not
