Footwell w5w bulb

Evening all. Please can someone help.
I got 2 t10 501 w5w led bulbs to replace the footwell light bulbs. But I put them in and they came on, then made a strange sound and won't turn on again? Thought w5w bulb was the correct one?

Hi and welcome to the club and forum Jdb123. They are the correct bulbs w5w 501's, but are they error free aftermarket bulbs or straight OEM replacement ones? It sounds like you may've blown a fuse if they made a strange noise and didn't come back on again.

As mentioned above, ensure they're CANBUS LED's.

The new bulbs are canbus error free leds. W5w.

I have fitted the stock bulbs back and they work fine and the fuse is fine! But the new leds still don't work.
