Evening guys new owner with a question

evening guys I’ve got a 2013 vti dstyle plus when driving to work this morning while it was still dark noticed that the climate control and demist buttons weren’t ilumanated I spoke to the dealer they said they don’t only the demist buttons when pressed have a light Is this right ?

Checked mine and the buttons are all illuminated, if you turn off the aircon completely then none of the heating controls are lit.

On other car just got used to putting lights on and all switches illuminated but I’m getting used to it now .
