I really don't understand why they don't make a bigger deal of it.. there is nothing in the brochure or spec online to even say its a feature of the ehdi 110 engine!

me thinks the E< in ehdi = start / stop as our 90 got it too

How do you find it on you 90 ehdi? I'm a little curious about how it works/performs etc as I've never had a cnahcne to use stop/start technology.

when you stop and put the car in neutral and take your foot off the clutch is when the stop -start works

yes as soon as you touch the clutch it starts

click finish on bottom right corner and it will bring you the full spec up
it does say that the rear brakes are drums but they are disc brakes all round

Thanks jimbob. I've looked through it before several times but the list isnt complete! It's missing a few vital features that the car is 'suppose' to feature!

As long as its all the way to the floor ive had an odd moment where i havnt pushed it quite far enough and its not fired back up

Are you driving the 90 or 110ehdi sted? I test drove a 90ehdi but didnt realise it had the stop/start onboard, otherwise i would have tested it out!

...yes but at least it beeps and tells you on the screen to depress the clutch fully if that happens! I'm loving the stop start ! Freaked my husband out a little bit when he drove it today but it doesn't phase me at all as I tended to be good and put my old car into neutral with the handbrake on. It really is so fast as soon as you put the clutch down and put it back in gear the engine is back on... Before you've even got the handbrake down its fab! Really do think my car is cleverer than me... Maybe I need to start calling it Kit!!

All this talk about my future DS3 dsport plus 110 ehdi is making me get impatient... I haven't felt like this since i was a kid and looking forward to my Christmas presents!

Oh well... only another 4 weeks to go...
