similar happened to me last week...I went on a test drive on the Friday evening, sat a talked figures and the sales guy says we can do a deal on this white one in the show room and have it ready for my bday on the Monday! So I bite his hand off and go merrily on my way.
Got there on Monday at the arranged collection time to be told "hey up mate, happy birthday, having a good day? Well, sorry but the car I sold you on Friday is the Petrol model and I didn't notice until yesterday (the Sunday).
But we have got you one coming on Friday"
