In a rush to get to work this morning, I reversed a bit too enthusiastically down the drive and gave the wheelie-bin an ever-so-gentle double-nudge with my driver's door.
Result? TWO sodding dents ... and this after 2 sodding years of OCD-level caution about where I park, to avoid picking up parking dents.
The really frustrating bit is that if I'd been planning to keep it, & drive it into the ground over 5-6 years like I usually do, a few dents wouldn't matter sod-all to the resale value, but I'd already decided to sell it over the summer because of the well-documented engine problems, and at 2-3 years old, bodywork comes under much closer scrutiny.
So, do I get it fixed (bound to be £200-300 at least) or do I keep my money in my pocket, and take a hit on the resale value?
