  • Temperature Centre Valve Problems!!

I bought my DS3 in October and have been having a lot of trouble lately. It started mis firing and not starting correctly in January when I took it back to the dealer they had it for 9 days and kept doing diognostics on it getting a different problem all the time. Having decided that it was the temperature centre valve problem? they replaced it. The car was running fine until last weekend when the same problem reocurred they have said that the valve has gone again and it will be another week and a half being fixed. As I am under 21 getting a courtesy car is a joke due to insurance and I am still having to pay finance on a car I cannot drive. I am losing confidence in the car which is not good as I really like it. Any advice please would be appreciated.

COmplain shitloads until they agree to give you a new one? Surely if it keeps having the same problems over and over then the car is not fit for sale, thus they have broken the contract. I dunno much about these things but I know they have to provide you with a car that is at least of the expected standard.

Sorry for your problems. Is it a diesel or petrol and which version? Not a lot you can do I am afraid until you have given them reasonable attempts to fix it - I gave Peugeot 6 attempts to fix the thp problem . Every car might have issues no matter which make it is, just put it down to unluckiness. keep the faith they are nice little cars and I am sure you will get it sorted. Keep pushing the Citroen garage to keep you updated and tell them you are carless so need it back asap. Who is the dealer looking after it?

Ask them why the same part has failed again.

As in, dealer doesn't know what the problem is, and is changing bits at random in the hope of curing it.
