  • Bloody wildlife

    Hi

There am I bombing down a delightfull cornish lane and what wanders
into the road? A bloody great Pheasant!! No time to brake or swerve,
bang! I feel the impact through the steering and it's raining feathers, my
youngest daughter thinks it's great fun (yes she's like me). Stop the car
and check the front end, a panels popped out but goes back in straight
away. The Pheasant is no more, it has ceased to be etc. My daughters
still in the car so I duck down pick up the bird creep around to the passenger
side and slap the Pheasant on the window. S**t that girl can scream.
Anyway anyone know a good childs Psychiatrist ??

Ha ha I do My sister is one and my Daughter is training to become one, both of whom I scarred for life by similar little antics that they just didn't see the funny side of whilst they and I were younger of course and a PC wasn't even a computer let alone a mode of behaviour. Now I have to be more careful as they can have me committed!

A pheasant once hit the top of my windscreen when I was "hurrying" up the M6 toll road.
It flew way up into the air and as I watched in the mirror it came down on the bonnet of the car about 50 metres behind me!

Boy did he get a shock!

Unfortunately the rest of the pheasant was to far back by the time I'd pulled over onto the hard shoulder so I didn't go back and collect it

I remember my Dad hitting a pheasant on his gsxr1100 it obliterated his fairing and minced the bird, he looked somewhat pale when he pulled over.
I couldn't fix yer brakes so I made your horn louder!
