  • Resonator deleting?

    Hi all.
I'm new to this forum and today I am very excited to be taking delivery of my brand new ds3 dstyle plus
    120 vti.
I have seen a lot about resonator deleting. Pardon my ignorance but can someone explain to me what this is, what it does and how I do it. Is there a fuel penalty or anything?
    Many thanks in advance

The resonator is a part of the exhaust part# PG207-1 in the picture. When you put a new complete exhaust on you can choose to leave this off and have straight pipe instead. Leaving it out will make the sound louder. Wont do a lot to free up power as they are a straight through design.

As above unless you are referring to the airbox, in that case it doesn't really make any difference expect making your engine sound louder.
