Well one year in (well tomorrow, 14th July) and what do I think of the DS3?
Here's my thoughts for what they are worth...
Firstly as a mad keen car detailer (as a hobby but get asked to do many cars!), I soon got to give my DS3 a detail after I received it, and it's fair to say it looks as good as this today when I give it a quick go over:

I love fact people here refer to me for detailing questions, as I genuinely enjoy sharing my passion and advising where I can!
So since July 14th last year I've covered just over 13,000 in my THP - the engine has never skipped a beat and I've not had any of the problems some people seem to have, and it's the 150 BHP version, but like I say it's been great...
Just after I first got it I got some rattles and the dealer (who I got a cracking deal through) was fantastic and gave me a lot of service (it's handy knowing the law sometimes but to be fair I think they would have given anyone the same level of service). The rattles have come and gone and, on the whole, I no longer hear then. When I get in a VW/Audi group car sometimes I hear the absolute sound of silence that I was used to, but like I say I've come to not find the noise in the DS3 a problem (I got a full refund on a previous car because of some rattles, so shows you how nutty I am!), but it's fine.
Having had some expensive Audis previously the 'cheap and cheerful' DS3 never fails to disappoint me - if I call all 150 into service they respond instantly, the car sticks to corners and the driving feel is just lovely. Crusing is nice and the steering responsive and precise. It seemed to cope with the limited snow over winter and I was not overly concerned driving it then compared to other cars I've had. The level of spec on the DSport Plus (and across all the range) is very good - I particularly like the 'speed limiter' when in average speed camera areas. I like the low level footlights at night, just gives it a nice feel. It even coped well through some floods recently even if my heart was in my mouth...
The build quality seems good for the money (and for Citroen!).
So, first service tomorrow, the dealer already knows not to wash it - the price of a full correction detail has been explained and agreed to if they do!
So, one year in and very pleased,,,might I change it, yea I might at some point, it's 12 months old, but it will serve me well for more if I want it to I'm sure...(my changes are often impulsive rather than planned)....
9/10 Citroen, keep up the good work!
Thanks to Joni and Martin and all others for running this site, and for BigFeet as the friendly dealer giving us all free advice!
Regards,
Clive.
