Im sitting here watching England and going throgh a list of faults listed on this website ticking them off so far I have

    1) Squeaky dash
    2) Missing gromet front bumper
    3) Steamed up indicators (under the wing mirror)
    4) Rear wheel arch liner haning down
    5) The vinyl which runs up the pillar by the windscreen has bubbled and needs replacing

If it were cards that would be a full house

Well I know of the solution to the first one fella, give your dealership a shout after reading this thread. Think the bumper has been mentioned here before and defo worth a look searching for the others here, although I've only had the misfortune of experiencing the first one - oh and now, shaky side windows - eeeek!

Shame to hear that you are having pronlems with your DS3, we've had our now a week and have had no problems at. No squeak dashboard, missing bits or hanging trim which has left me wondering if these issues that you and a few others have had are more related to poor PDI being carried out on your cars? PDI is supposed to check for issues like the ones that you mentioned and it's looks like that some dealers are not doing the job right. At our dealership the PDI's are carried out by the Chief tech and two others who are both very experianced techs. We do not let junior tech do PDI's due to the nature of them, ie making sure than the car is fit for the road and free of any defect.

If you are going to lodge a complanit best thing is to speak with your dealer first so they can attemp to sort the problems first.

My dealer at least the salesperson seems very customer focused, I am not so sure about the servicing team. I keep getting e mails from the salesman apologising and promising phonecalls from service that dont happen.

I bought a new civic when they were 1st onto the market and experienced similar teething problems, Honda just seem better and getting them sorted.

One thing I have noticed in citreon dealers which is amusing, the salesman are always busy but so are sevice dealing with complaints

A PDI should take at least and hour and a half to complete, a little longer if some there are some issues to resolve first.
