I know this is a forum about cars, but we seem to have many members in the leeds area, and maybe someone that can help out with this appeal.

it is a race against the clock.

Here are the bullet points.

Mum is called Stacey hall.

Girl who called is named Ellie and is 3 years old.

She also told the 999 operators that her house number was 23 and had "Court" in the street name.

She said her grandparents lived in Bridlington.

And there is a chip shop on the main road next to her.

Nothing on 192 when I run a search, I thought that the 999 call centres could see the incoming numbers.

Apparantly the mobile was unregistered.

I'm actually glad it was a hoax if i am honest, because when I though it was really i believed that "stacy" was dead and they didn;t find her soon enough, "ellie" would be too, hence posting here, there and everywhere else I could think off.

I think the best thing that came out of all this was the reaction from the puiblic. It was clear to see that people were getting involved on face book, twitter etc. Shows the good side of the UK and makes me think there is a slither of humanity left.
