  • Thinking of changing Giulietta for DS3 THP

I am currently driving white Giulietta 1.6 Jtdm and I am not that happy with it. I mean, regarding design it’s really a great car but regarding quality... really disappointed. I have been at dealer more than 10 times in one year and a half.

My first car was C2 VTR Sensodrive and I had it for 5 years. It was a great car, not even one single problem.

So now I am thinking of going back to Citroen and specifically DS3 155 THP. It’s really great looking car and as I read engine is also quite strong.
Are you in general happy with the car?

Is there any specific equipment I should order? Is navigation working ok?

I am thinking between yellow or sport red, both with black roof but can’t say which one is better looking

DSports+ has no satnav, but you can get it if you have a DSports and add it as an extra.

At least you can remap the THP unlike the Giuletta that keeps resetting to its factory map everytime the ABS engages

      Which spec did you have?

I still have Giulietta. Its Sport Pack 2 Equipment - same look as QV, only engine not the same

Since I am from Slovenia here the DS3 version are a bit different. THP 155 comes as Sport Chick pack which has basically all the equipment except SatNav and Leader seats. This is optional. I will not order leader sets since i prefer fabric but I am tempted to order SatNav due to its look.

I suppose the performance is somewhere between the 1.4 and the 1.75 cloverleaf as standard. They are great to drive, gorgeous to look at and they really do have a lot of oooomph

Nice one Cartier25- you made a post! WELCOME TO THE CLUB

Go for the SPORT RED with BLACK roof- choice of KINGS LOL
Yellow is nice- better resale value with Sport RED

Fabric better than leather too in my opinion

SLOVENIA- Very nice. Have you spare room for me to come on holiday? (Just joking)

Had all leather in my last vehicle and I found:

It ages and sags (Sometimes ageing looks quite good- but seat sag dont))
Its hot when being in the sun
Its cold when in the cold (Heated seats take 2 mins to get going)
Its expensive (Usually £300-500 xtra on a car)
You cant get bright colours (Sport red seats in my DS3)

And I'm sure there will be problems with material seats(Get dirty easier) but at the mo wouldnt change
                    Just my opinion of course

                        Welcome

I have a 120 so can offer no advice re engine, but I still love the way my DS3 looks after 2 years *gulp* of ownership!

Two if the many side affects of owning a DS3 I have found:
                        • Parking no where near the shops for fear of others parking near her
                        • OCD cleaning

                        My DS3R3... nearly....

Yellow and Black is the obvious choice, for people with good taste Although sports red and black is a nice combo as well. I have had mine for 18 months and it is just such a wonderfully fun car to drive, and they are very nice looking as well.
