Most annoying "other" vehicle driver habits.

Truck drivers on the A1 north of Scotch Corner where it's all Dual Carriageway trying to overtake each other and thus holding up 2 lanes of traffic whilst they play their game...nobs

Being a Trucker myself, I always sit behind them unless its a supermarket wagon that are only allowed to do 50 on a dual carriage way. What i hate when driving trucks is when you got your flasher on and no one lets you out, even when there's room in the outside lane. 10 seconds max with the indicator on and then I'm pulling out, thats plenty of time for them to react. the other one is when I pull out to let cars on to the carriageway, they stay on the inside of me, either put your foot down and give me a wave or drop back and flash me in! A Lot of car drivers hate being behind trucks even when the truck in keeping up with the traffic! And to be honest when I'm in a car so do I. But i always give them room, especially as I know first hand how much of a battle it is to drive a truck day in day out with the amount of muppets there are on the road these days.

I always let trucks out if they indicate first but I think some of them need to start checking the peripheral vision because the amount of times I've almost been drive in the central reservation by a truck just pulling out on that stretch is shocking or when they pull out right in fornt of you when you're going ALOT faster than the left lane forcing you not to brake but to throw bloody anchors out of the window!!!! That stretch of road is just shocking for truck drivers- I respect their job, I respect the long hours on the road but FFS check if there's a car in the right lane before pulling over!!!

This morning I wasn't in a hurry so settled in behind a van with a trailer. After a few miles I watched a young lass in a Zafia overtake on a blind bend, pass one car and suddenly saw the oncoming traffic, carried on and carved in front of me forcing me to brake hard and the guy behind me as well. That's when I noticed the child seats through the rear window which were occupied...

The stupid thing was that she turned off the road less than 200 yards later!

People who go miles over the speed limit to overtake you, then brake sharply and turn off. WTF?

pet hates of mine are:

1) Middle lane hogs
2) People who drive right up your arse when you're overtaking on the motorway
3) Elderly people whose cars haven't ever seen speeds of faster than 31 mph
4) People who overtake you and then hover next to you to hurl abuse/gawp at you
5) chavvy boy racers with stupidly loud exhausts - they sound and drive like a tit
6) people who drive along the "fast lane" of the motorway and flash their lights repeatedly at other vehicles to get them to move out of the way and don't slow down
7) people who slow down to a crawl to go over speed bumps

the list is pretty exhaustive tbh but these are defo top of the list for me.

In slow moving traffic outside lane- car in front doesnt keep up with traffic
AND constant cars undercut on inside and slip in front of said car

1) People who refuse to use the slip lane (on-ramp) of a motorway to get up to motorway speeds.
-The number of times i've pulled onto a slip road only to be confronted by someone still doing 50mph (if that) until they actually join the motorway.
2) Middle lane hogs.
-Or one's i'm seeing more and more of (usually BMW or Audis) Outer Lane hogs - people who sit in the outside lane even when the rest of the motorway is clear.
3) People who seemingly have no understanding of when to use their indicators.
-i.e. they won't use them when they should and will use them when they don't really need to (e.g. sitting at traffic lights in a filter lane)

as well as many others...

2) people that do 60 through blackwall tunnel, then 60 down the A2 and carry on at 60 down the M2. 3 different speed limits and they do one speed!
3) black cab drivers, hate them!! Someone is waving me down from the other side of the road, oh never mind I will do a u-turn and cross 2 lanes of traffic without indicating!
4) people that sit right up your arse through speed cameras.
5) every one else that drives around Trafalgar Square, do those white lines mean nothing to you? Do you normally turn right from the left lane?

Just a few of the things I hate. One day I will take my shogun to work, don't care if it gets scratched and scraped.

I hate all drivers who cause an insurance claim through stupid driving. The rest of us suffer with higher premiums. I hate those that injur and kill even more.
