Nice one! I have the planet polish wheel seal and shine, it certainly brings up a nice gloss....

        Regards,

Clive how long does the wheel seal and shine last?
Would I be better putting a coating of like say Wolf's hard body or body wrap

Hi, to be absolutely honest, I'm not sure how long it lasts but it is supposed to be a decent time - reason I'm not sure is I can't resist using a wheel cleaner on them and therefore probably degrade it! I like it more for the 'bling' it brings out for me on the gloss of the wheels as much as any protection. I think you'll be fine sticking with it, as I know when I've just washed the wheels with wash solution they've come up well and the Wheel S&S appeared to be lasting....

                  Thanks,
                  Clive.

                    Hi Clive

What do you recommend as a regular-use, pre-wash wheel cleaner? I read on another thread that you use Cirtrus Wash but will this remove brake dust?

                    Cheers

Autobrite very cherry wheel cleaner is good stuff for frequent cleaning. For the infrequent washes that need a little more effort and removal of brake dust, they do a product called purple rain - check my thread you can see the results on heavily soiled wheels.

Thanks very much for the advice. I'm just about to place my first order with Autobrite so will add both to the list whilst I'm at it.

The wheel brush they do is amazing - its got large flexible bristles that aren't harsh on the painted alloy . I think it's about £6, it's basically a non branded meguiars, also any Swiss vac style brushes are good on the face/front of the alloy.

Post your shopping cart up if you fancy, I'm sure we'll be able to help you out

Removal of adhesive from wheel rims? Using Autoglym tar and adhesive removal but its hard work

That "Armor for wheels" protection stuff seems good
