Its been a while since I posted but i've been trying to keep up to speed with the goings on! :-)
So i'm taking Monte my DS3 back to the dealers tomorrow to replace my shiny black console after I noticed a chip near the stereo after I collected it back in March (its taken this long for various reasons, including a damaged one being sent previously and then them not telling me when a replacement came in).
I'm also going to have words about my stereo which has also given me problems since new. Basically, on the day of collection we had problems getting the stereo to stream bluetooth music before i'd even left the forecourt then once I finally got it working it developed a horrible crackle (only when steaming music via bluetooth). After about 2 months of waiting they finally got me a new stereo and replaced it (after 3 hours of faffing about because of a software problem). This was also their opportunity to take photos of the chip on the dash i'd told them about over the phone and send them off for a warrenty decision (which then took ages)
However, since then I still have the following ongoing problems:
Car will not connect to phone via bluetooth if I try to connect after starting the engine (bluetooth has to be turned on on my phone before I start the engine for it to connect). Pretty sure its nothing to do with the phone as the Citroen Berlingo hire car I had on holiday had no problems connecting even if I turned the Bluetooth on when the engine was running.
When scrolling through the sources it no longer gives me an Aux option (this worked before the new stero)
When playing music via bluetooth if I skip to the next song the car will not display the song details. However if I pause the song and then play it, the details appear (again I did not have this problem before the new stereo)
It also generally appears to be generally quite tempremental although the crackle never came back!
Keep your fingers crossed for me that nearly 7 months after picking up the car I might actually get these bits sorted once and for all!
