Been messing around with the lamps on the front end lighting over the past couple weeks not only for appearance but also for brighter light when driving hard in the dark:
Changed OEM dipped beam to Osram Nightbreakers
Changed OEM sidelights to 30 LEDs
Changed OEM indicator to silver appearance
Whilst the dipped beam lamps looked better, and are deffo brighter than OEM, they didnt seem to project much further
So tonight was checking them out, and played with the "Load" dial LHS of the sterring wheel
What I learned was that adjusting the height direction of the dipped beam is actually controlled with what seems like an electric motor
I didna know that.
And it does push the light direction of the dipped beam up a fair bit, projecting further. Great for these dark evenings (Hopefully not blinding people)
Thought it would be some mechanical set up
Any little things youve found out that some of us may have missed? Some things are good- and some are not so good
