help please...window!

Hi All

ds3 110 hdi...12 plate can't fault it.
However over the last month the drivers side window makes the most horrid screech when operating the electric window. Happens about half way down for a few seconds...

Anyone else had this happen and have a solution please?!

I clean the car weekly, inside and out including the windows. Passenger electric window fine.....

Shame really, even managed to fix the rattle from the glovebox but this has got me stumped!

My car suffered from this for a bit.
I got some 303 Aerospace protectant (Vinyl and rubber care stuff) and cleaned the window rubber seals with the window down and then squirted it into the corners of the windows to run down the inside of the seals! This has cured the screech of the window going up and down and it hasn't done it since.
If you don't have any 303 then something similar for seals or rubber should work, some people also rub candle wax in the rubber seals to help aid the movement but I didn't fancy that.

Cheers guys found it on eBay! Just left out areospace and there's loads! Not cheap...but so worth it to stop the squeal!

Yeah it isn't the cheapest but I will say that it's a very good product and you can use it on pretty much everything plastic or rubber in the car!
