  • Quick opinions please..

I got a dstyle plus 1.6 vti just under a year and a half ago on pcp. I got a call from the dealer the other day there asking if I wanted a new one the same now. It was going to cost a bit more so I said no, I'm not paying more for one the same when the one I have a near new one as it is.
To cut a long story short I told him I would be prepared to pay a bit more but only if I got upgraded to the dsport plus 1.6 155. I've been quoted on £293 pm for 3 years with final option payment of £7k. This was after haggling a bit and the dealer assures me that this price was gotten by giving me £2500 off the car.
Does anyone have any similar experiences or thoughts as to whether this is anything like a decent deal?
    Thanks in advance
    Onkan

      No deposit on this one.
Originally I put a £3200 deposit on my dstyle plus to keep my payments low up until now.
I have roughly calculated that what I owe on my current car is about equal to what it is worth (around £9.5k) my payments are currently £163 odds.

Did you want a new car before the dealer phoned you?

There are some stonking contract deals on THPs at the moment.

I would like the upgrade, just hadn't thought it possible up to now.
Does it seem a good deal?

              A) Do you want the car?
              B) Can you afford the extra cost?
              C) If you were genuinely interested in upgrading, have you shopped around to see what other deals are to be had?
              D) Will you regret not upgrading?

Only you can decide whether it is a good deal or not.

Yep, check other deal/dealers, if you look too closely and decide not to change will your present car feel the same, can you afford it and lastly if you do change make sure its new stock with 3D rear lights, lol.

Oh yep and it's Xmas so beware strangers brining presents hohohohohoho!
