  • Rear wheel curbed

So, my other half gets home from being away for a few days to tell me that he curbed his car last night going round a roundabout. I've told him off for 'hugging' curbs but this time he's got too close.

It's too dark to post pictures tonight but looks like it hasn't got near the painted bit or damaged the tyre.
I am trying to find who or where I could get this refurbished, CliveP have you any idea around our neck of the woods?

Don't really want to fork out for a new alloy.

If they are the bellone wheels, I would say leave them on and wait till the centre bit corrodes and get them replaced under warranty!

either do as pat says or have a word with these: http://ds3club.co.uk/showthread.php?...=bellone+wheel
They have recently joined the forum and as far as we know are the only ones who can succesfully refurb these wheels. Chips away or similar places can do it but not re cut the diamond cutting so its not 100%. hope this helps..

          Hi,

          Whereabouts are you?

I couldn't live with that damage, that carries an execution sentance I'd suggest!

          Regards,
          Clive.

ps that link Matt has posted looks a decent refurb - although I'm more driven by quality of result than price....perfect is the only option!

Dudeoir- u won't get the wheels replaced under warranty if they Are damaged but by all means try
I can't see the photo that well as an on a mobile- but consider covering the damage rather than repair. You could repair expensively then do it again!!!

See rimblade and alloygator threads. And get protection for future

Kerbed mine within 6weeks and covered them with Alloygators and wouldn't know difference lLOL

Dudeoir- having had a good look at your photo, the alloygators would cover that, and give future protection
Up to you if you fork out on a refurb- but you will be upset if you do it again (I know cos I did)

Cheers Chris_Blue! I was thinking of those, might get some for mine too.

Do they look out of place though?

When I bought my car the dealer was trying to get me to take out that wheel policy thing and I said no as its cheaper to buy alloy gators
