How many keys??

My leased DS3 arrived on Friday - very happy with it except that I only have a single remote key, and one "manual" key (i.e. you need to put it in the lock to open the door). This doesn't seem right to me - can anyone confirm there should be 2 remote keys?

Mine came with two fobs when I bought the car.

Since had the locks replaced due to one of the keys being stolen and was given a re-coded manual key and had the one fob left that I had re-coded and the key replaced.

Yes you should have two keys....

DSign/DStyle = 1 x Remote and 1 x Service Key
DSport/Racing/Ultra = 2 x Remote

Would help if you told us which model you have!

It's a DStyle Plus - I didn't realise there would be a difference. I've leased lots of cars before and never had anything less than 2 remote keys

You can always buy a second remote if it's needed for someone else. Bigglesworth should be able to find you the trade price. You can then PM Ross for a deal

Lol! My friend had with his Alfa GTA 2 x keys, 2 x remotes, 1 x master and 1 x service keys!

Seems a bit poor of Citroen to only provide 1 remote key. Not paying the £190-odd to get another one made up so I'll make do with the 1990's key!

It's not just a '90s key, my '88 Ford XR3i had the same key

The car is leased. It costs £158 a month inc vat. If I got a DSport, the cheapest lease available is ~£250 a month. Not exactly sensible just to get another key!

And I'm using the manual key as my wife uses the remote key.
