    I don't know, the Ecu's may be different. All I've been told is, the ECU may be easier to detect because it has to be split apart to get inside it.. but apart from that its no different. i don't know though, I'm not as technically minded as these guys!

      Can't see how remapping would affect MOT. Thought that just dealt with safety

      You can have a 300 BHP car pass an MOT no worries

      Insurance purposes- that's another matter. If its not disclosed, and after an accident it's seen the ECU been tampered with, that could lead to problems.

      Shouldn't be long before there's an easy way to remap a tamper proof ECU LOL
