Sorry if this question's been asked before - i cant find any previous threads......

Is the 2010 model THP 150bhp or 155bhp?
Did they do something different to get it to 155??

And what do you guys reckcon a 2010 THP with K&N panel air filter pulls out?

IIRC the change to 155 came out around the end of 2010.

With regards to performance increases, with a panel filter alone probably an increase of 0-5hp at most?

Have a may 2011 and its a THP150 so the change was after that. The HP did not change when they made it a THP155, but it does have lower emissions and better mpg.

If memory serves the change in the THP occurred during Nov production in 2011 (model 17), the 155 is in essence just the 150 version but fitted with all the improvements (think Info Rapids here). There was a small change in co2 but the reason it was called the 155 was more to identify a change than anything else.

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows anything about having white sludge around there oil cap at all? I noticed it a few months back and was told it could be condensation because of cold weather??! I checked again today and there is a hell of a lot more than previously, so now I'm thinking head gasket?? The car is only 9 months old and hasn't been driven very hard So was just wondering if anybody had had a similar experience thanks nath

                              White sludge? Like Mayonnaise?

That's not a good sign, normally it points to a head gasket failure. That said if you're only doing short runs and the engine is not getting warm enough it could just be a build of condensation, best thing to do is give the car a nice long run but keep an eye on the oil. Would suggest that you look at changing it early.
