I absolutely love driving the DS3, its so much fun and being relatively light and having a pokey little turbo'd engine makes it great to throw around. The minor teething problem never detracted from the overall enjoyment of the car, it was just somewhat disappointing. My Mrs had a proper go in it today and was very pleased with the performance, if a little surprised by the much longer gearing than her old Seat Ibiza...

Oh and the stereo is rather good as well.

No I mean the length of the gears, 2nd is much longer than the Ibiza so you get upto a much higher speed in 2nd, a lot quicker, in the DS3.

yep- you can touch 90mph in 3rd
Can get to 60 in second (6000revs ish) altho pushing it
(From what I recall)
Would still like a racing gearbox tho

lfc (Cant do the "rule" LOL). You can get a modification on some gearboxs' that make the distance between physically changing from 1st to 2nd gear (for instance) much less distance, therfore making the gear change that much quicker.
ds3r- i'll have a closer look- just know you only need 1 gear change to get a 0-60mph time
What max revs you take it too- over the red line? 6250 i think

Yeah I had one fitted to my civic, it was a short shifter and cost about £65. I cut the throw down by about 50%. Was great when you were booting it.

she will learn to love it since remap my third gear goes on forever from like 110 to 170

Yep they are great tunes, loving the foos they just rock don't they.

I have a wide taste of music. But mainly love it LOUD N IN YER FACE!! And your right the acoustics in the car are cool. I've only got cd's lol. Gonna get an mp3 player soon tho coz there's no cd storage space really.
