  • Botticelli Blue .....Bit Worried Now!

Ok so I ordered a DS3 yesterday, Botticelli Blue, I thought it looked great and drove well. Now had a couple of comments when I have shown people the colour and reading back posts here seems to make me think it may be classed a "girls car".

What's the general feeling here? I am starting to think I made the wrong choice!

I quite like the colour it's refreshing ! If you really get bored then have a wrap cheapest way and then can always revert to the original colour when selling !

      Evening,

I don't think it's a girls colour at all mate.

To be honest, who cares what other people think? If you like it that's all that matters.

I think the blue looks awesome!

It's not a case of getting bored, more having my masculinity questioned:redface:

            Hi,

All of my colleagues as seniors drive big BMs and other German and British 'quality' cars, there's some Audi S5s and other similar cars.

I drive a bright red DS3 - guess which car gets the most comments?

Enjoy being different mate, I love it when some of my colleagues ask me if I've brought in the hairdresser's car!

I mean I could have bought a middle-aged Jaguar XF (my only other short listed car), I'm so glad I didn't!

You like the colour, that's it, revel in any 'comments' you get, making it 'silently' obvious you don't care what others think!

            Regards,
            Clive.

ps let them question your masculity if they want, you know the colour of your blood and which team you bat for, enjoy it mate!

Just give the haters a long hard stare and respond, " Yes, it is a girls car". Seems to work. A guy on a motorbike pulled up to me next to the lights one day and asked if my car came in mens, I just stared at him and responded, "No." He just looked baffled.

As other people have said, as long as you're happy with your car then that is all that matters.

The botticelli was the other color I was considering but went with the other blue. Now however much I love my car whenever I see one think maybe I should have gone with it goes through my head. So don't fret no matter what you choose the car looks good in so many colors that there will always be one that you think you should have gone for instead!

The way I look at it is this, I've never had so much fun driving a car as I do with my DS3 and that means I made the right choice !

I know it's Monday morning and my head is a little fuzzy from the weekend but Botticelli Blue was discontinued from the new range some time ago so I assume you ordered a used car?
