  • 6 Month Check-Up

    Hi,

My DS3 was booked in for a 6 month 'check up' when I got her in September. It's through Wilson's in Epsom. Does anyone know what this involves?

    Thanks in advance!

    6 months check up?

    Car second hand?

Used to be just a check to see if anything needs tightening topping up or greasing in the old days but not normally needed for all new cars.

There is no six month check up. Service intervals are in your service book, diesels 12000 mile or something like that. I keep my DS3's for 18 months and they only ever have that one service when needed.

Maybe it's a discretionary thing ? My Citroen dealer invited mine in for a 6 week check up and it took no time at all..... Other than that it had a recall inspection (didn't need anything doing) and then the 12,500 mile service on Tuesday this week.

Yeah it was brand new, only on 2000 miles. I'm guessing its to see how I'm getting along with it

Ah. I do remember my dealer did say that he would call me after 6 months just to see how I was getting on and he did

Mine had an interim service at 1,000 miles (1 year old) this was an oil and filter change and visual inspection of other bits. Stanped in the sercice book.
