  • DS3 Style Plus Noob Questions

Hi all, about to order a new dstyle plus (120hp petrol) but just wanted to double check a few things first.

Can't seem to find a definitive answer to what exactly are the differences between a dstyle and a dstyle plus ?

Also the dealer seemed genuinely surprised when I mentioned that I was interested in the petrol version instead of the diesel version, is the diesel really that more popular ? (I've test driven the petrol and was happy with it but considering if i should test drive a diesel too)

Finally I'd perhaps be interested in getting the roof and the wing mirrors wrapped in a different colour, anyone else had this done to their ds3 and does it really look as good as they say. I can imagine it getting ripped quite easily if hit by a stone etc when driving along ?

Cheers for the help in advance

Ive just had mine wrapped a few weeks ago, no stone chips etc so far and its so easy to keep clean and looking good, basically you just wash it with PH neutral shampoo and dry, no polish/wax etc as that will ruin it.

      Heres mine http://ds3club.co.uk/showthread.php?...e-build-thread.

Definitely worth taking the diesel out for a test before deciding. You may like it or you may not but you wont know until you try Also keep in mind how you drive if stay in the city or do short trips the petrol would be better but if you have a regular longer drive the diesel might be better.

I have the petrol & like Cyclone said good for the city and short trips but have driven the diesel too - I love mine but the diesel was nice.

The diesel are great and give good economy. It will depend on your annual mileage and how long you intend to keep the car. I have had the 92bhp and the 115bhp and would say the latter is a smoother engine but think its only possible on the Sport.

I took the petrol version coz was a grand n half of the price £500 for the diesel so no brainer really. Also I'm not gonna be hammering it around so sport wasn't a concern for me. D style plus Petrol has Gd pick up n goes some.

I have the petrol model and am very happy with it. Don't do lots of miles so salesman recommended it, if doing loads then he said diesel would be more economic.

Think the Dstyle Plus gives the City Signature Pack...17" alloys, rear parking sensors, armrest, folding mirrors and auto lights and wipers, but whther spec has changed since. Also you get an extra £500 off on Elect 3 taken the plus spec.

I keep hearing different information about the dstyle plus, It does come with the 17" alloys but i'm not so convinced it comes with the folding mirrors, auto wipers, spoiler with third brakelight etc. I think only the dsport has that but can anyone confirm that ?
