Its the shopping trollies you need to watch out for. Have had damage in the past from people not having learnt to control them. I too park as far away from he supermarket entrance as possible as you run less of a risk of damage due to the fc most people try to park as close as possible to the entrance.

Agreed. Nothing annoys me more then that kind of behaviour regardless of the capacity of the carpark at the time, no offense to the poster but I find it selfish to park like that.

Supermarket car parks are a nightmare, i work in one! had 9 dings in my c2 when i traded it in, currently park my new car at the furthest point away but it hasn't stopped an idiot dinking it, couldn't believe it. Getting the feeling it comes with car ownership these days. 10 years ago when i had a 106 not a mark on it after 4 years of owning it, but nowadays it doesn't seem to matter how or where you park.

A lot of the issue I feel is the fact that Insurance companies place so much on NCB these days, and even having one minor little claim can make such a huge impact on your renewal. Because of that people tend to 'try and get away with it' more and more and unfortunately car parks are the worse offender.
