Does anyone know if you can de activate the auto wipers so that you can just press downwards on the wiper control to swipe once? As when you do push down on this is certainly swipes once but then the auto wipers are activated at the same time. Hope this makes sense? Ay help would be appreciated. Cheers

Your dealer probably can de-activate them if you really don't want them to work on auto_____________________________________________

I just love all these type of post's....car manufactures speed shit loads of cash and time thinking of things to make driving more of a pleasure then people want them disabled ......WHY
Auto head lamps there so you don't forget to turn your lights's on
Auto wipers so you don't have to mess with the wipers when it's raining
ABS to help you stop quicker.....
Parking censors so you don't crash in to things
ESP helps cornering stability which stops you crashing
Traction control helps pulling away with out wheels spin
And the list goes on and on and on next people will be asking how can i disable the brake peddle because it slows me down when i press it....E HDI 90 White black roof....called free willy.....Because it looks like a Killer Whale .... Now gone to a better place march 2012 to March 2014

Had my ds3 a week now and this feature is really annoying. The auto wipers are too sensitive and there is no way to control the sensitivity like I could on my fiesta. Worse still, a one touch wipe activates the autowipers. Who's idea was it to have auto wiper activation on the same function as a single wipe?! It would have made more sense to make the function a twist on the stalk.
I suspect it was a cheap option - so they can use the same stalk across the range. And those stalks have been used on Citroens since time began, like the stereo.

It makes logical sense really, if you need a single swipe it most likely because the road is wet thus it may rain.
If it really bugs you that make them go back top your dealer, pay a charge, and have the feature turned off....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
