eTouch's SOS doesn't cost you as the driver anything to use but it is designed for emergency use only. The Citroen Assist button puts you through to Citroen Assistance Breakdown but you will need to have cover with them in order to take advantage.
Thanks for the info. Don't think I will have the assist but are they easy to push? As in could a dog accidentally activate them? Might be easiest jus to disable if such a thing is possible
If your last car was a Freelander 1.8 when all your worries about engine failure will so be at an end!
In regards to your questions...
1.) There have been some disruption with the delivery network at the docks which has moved dates back.
2.) Your DS3 will come with 3D lights and as your order if for a DSport then the mats are included.Res
3.) The automatic lights work of a light sensor mounted on the windscreen of the car, when the levels are low enough (or if the wipers have been on for a bit) the main dipped headlights will switch on.
4.) Reverse is a dog leg style as the gearbox is a 6 speed unit. All the way to the left, pull up on the tag and slide it forwards, you should hear a single beep to confirm your parking sensors are active - this will let you know that you got the right gear!
5.) There is a reversible boot mat available for the DS3 but I would suggest checking out somewhere like Boot Buddy. Or you could just use an old blanket with some Velcro to stick to the sides?

Thanks for the reply Bigfeet. It's a shame the company my company uses for the salary sacrifice cars can't be a bit more forthcoming on the delays. I understand them happening but they could give more of an explanation as it is annoying to log on to see another week or two added. The original early April delivery is now nearly early June and it's a tad disheartening.
Good to hear there is a beep on the reverse too. The car I have now I don't know I have accidentally gone into reverse until i go backwards. That'll teach me though no not be heavy-handed!
All other stuff looks good. I shall keep an eye on the mats as I have this worry the company will decide to put their branded ones in rather than the proper Citroen ones.
Hi Icewolf - I don't suppose you are getting your car through cpcdrive/tusker are you? Are you with the NHS? Anyway, I have a DS3 due to be delivered from them on Friday! I ordered 11 Feb, so it will have been exactly 3 months. I'm getting the baby 1.2vti. I suspect it may be the only one on the forum!
It doesn't seem like the delays have improved I ordered mine at the end of Jan in 2011, told it would be with me mid-late March, ended up getting it 3rd week in May so its now almost two years old. I had a final delay with delivery when it had to have a new locking relay and when that didn't stop it unlocking itself a new engine management system - all before I picked it up! Still because of this Citroen gave me my first service free, done today so nothing to pay. Isn't it strange when I first looked at buying mine all I saw were the yellow ones on the road. I felt part of a really unique club when I got mine (not yellow), hardly seeing any at all on the road and all of a sudden all I seem to see is DS3s, it's quite nice seeing all the different colour combos.

Yes it is Tusker, but not NHS. I ordered mine early February but there was a bit of a delay as apparently their information didn't match the dealer, or something. Not particularly impressed to be honest with the amount on information that comes back from them but the deal for the car was right for me so can't complain too much!
You'll be able to tell me then how much Tusker branding is on the car if any. I thought maybe on the numberplate? Or does it just look like it came from any normal dealer?
Glad to hear yours is arriving! Did you have the same issue with ever increasing estimated delivery?
I've driven the new 1.2 VTi 82 engine and it's a little peach, nice and revvy will a good engine sound plus I was returning an average of 56 MPG with it (A/C on).

@icewolf I can certainly let you know if there is any branding when it arrives on Friday. My delivery date has been fairly consistent - it was initially scheduled for late April, slipped to mid-May, then back to late April, and final delivery date is 10th May. I've found the lease company to be OK, but I only ever got information or got things moving when I badgered them.
@riskzayne They have introduced a 1.2vti, the same engine as the new Pug 208 and also going in the C3 I believe. Supposed to be a lot lighter and more fuel efficient than the 1.4
@bigfeet That's good to hear, looking forward to getting my hands on it. No A/C for me so I may push that 56mpg a little further up!
@photojonny I wish I had some slipping to earlier, it's always been slipping later for me. But it will turn up eventually. It's just going to be nice to have a new car after not having one for ages. Does the car get delivered from a dealer or does Tusker get involved at that stage? Just wondering I guess how it all works. I know I will find this all out soon but I like to be prepared
@icewolf In my case the quote was approved my organisation and then Tusker put the order through, after which I received a phone call from a dealer confirming the spec of the car. I would then get automated emails from Tusker with the estimated delivery date, but the next actual contact I received was from the dealer direct to say the car was in stock and to arrange the delivery date/time/place. A couple of days later I got an email from Tusker confirming the delivery. So I would imagine the next contact you will have will be directly from the dealer when the car turns up with them, and it will be they who deliver it. I was also able to schedule an early delivery (8.00-8.30am) to fit with my work schedule. Will see if it turns up on time!
