I had a lot of mayo in the catch can even after just few hundred kilometers of driving. No doubt it breaths a lot crap through the front PCV.
What I have heard is that the rear PCV and front PCV breath in different load phases. According to some sources, rear one breaths on hard load and front one on light load. Do the math which one majority of street vehicles will breath through?

What I have heard is that one successful solution is to block the rear PCV, leave the front PCV stock and install WMI to flush valve covers. Other viable, but not as effective, solution is to block rear PCV and install catch can on front PCV. I am going to try this some day...

Some people have blocked both PCVs which will increase pressure in valve cover, which cant be good in long term? There is a relief valve behind the valve cover which "spits" on the stock air filter box when pressure grows too high.

The rear PVC is the one that would work under light load. If that were to open while you were under boost it would blow backwards and pressurize the engine crankcase. This would probably act as a massive vacuum leak also.

Can see water methanal injection helping to keep the valves clean from carbon buildup. Assume you meant that and not valve cover. Think it would be best to have that and cap the back plus a catch can on the side PVC. I have capped the back and a catch on the side.

Yes totally blocking the PVC would be bad, that would pressurize the engine crankcase with blowby gasses.

Sorry, my mistake. I messed again front and rear PCV as well as you said I meant the valves themselves. Thanks for correcting me

The external port is blocked because...... the PVC vapor is routed internally to each of the 4 intake ports instead of just the one in the intake manifold.

10500kms, 6 months old, completely stock and running fine. I've done about 7 track events with no mechanical issues. (side skirt was loose on delivery and fell off about a week ago but was covered under warranty ). Also it has been serviced once and I get it serviced every 5-6 months because of the track events and make sure I get all fluids replaced. Or at least engine oil and brake fluid, otherwise it starts getting expensive!.

Oh yes. Marginally better as it is now evenly distributed. On our engines it seems to concentrate at the #2 piston do to the one PVC port in the intake manifold.

Would I be correct in assuming your lease car includes servicing ? If so and you were unfortunate to experience some of the THP issues your lease Co would be responsible for getting it fixed and fighting with Citroen wouldn't they ?

Just my advice, don't post about track events, mods etc. unless you are completely prepared to go through fighting with dealer / Citroen.

Well my local dealer already knows about it as the salesman sussed it out when I traded in my old DS3 when he looked at the tyres and had the brakes inspected. It's ok though as I have in writing from the dealer that they still honor warranty jobs etc. Otherwise I'm pretty sure they would have blamed extreme G-forces on the driver's side skirt falling off :P

However I do know from experience (cough *VW*) that warranty work and repairs can just mean plug in OBD or Lexia thingy, find nothing wrong and send me on my way even if the gearbox is broken haha.
