...is the total length of time I managed to own a new DS3 before some oik decides to damage it!

in the process of getting out their car/walking past mine they managed to scuff/scratch the mirror cover! Thankfully only the polished black mirror cap, so I should be able to get another one.

I just would have liked to own it for at least a week before ill fortune found its way to me.

Sorry to hear that. Doesnt it just wind you up .I just wish people would respect other peoples property, the amount of times people let their doors swing wide open not caring about the other car's
Ive parked miles from anyone at the end of the car parks since ive had my car to avoid this but commin up ive got a few things to go to and ill be having to park in 'normal' spaces and im just prayin that i dont end up with door dents etc, ive never been so worried about a car as i am with this one. I feel like i want to cover it in bubble wrap ! but i got my car to enjoy it, so i cant worry or id never go anywhere in it, and thats the fun bit ! ....(i even called the pubs tonight to ask how big their car parks are !! = OCD !!! )

thats bad mate, just typical when you get something new, I have tried to be very careful with my DS3, but like Dspinky3 says they are to be driven not just looked at

              Have pm'd you Stu
Not nice about the wing cover scuffs, but actually it don't seem too bad, but the photo has a bit of reflection on (Nice shoes BTW LOL)
Some twat gouged deep scratches in my mirror caps on my last model, so left them on when I PXed (That's why I have the original black covers)

Unlucky Some people just have no respect.

I'm always worried the same might happen to mine so I park as far away as possible.

I'd much rather walk an extra 5 minutes than come back to a damaged car.

My only concern has been parking out there would be that some miscreant would vanadlise the car?

They're still in sight of security cameras, just far enough away that people rarely park next to me. Also it's a nice area so there are much more expensive cars that I'm sure would get vandalised before mine, lol.

I've been parking mine miles away too just to be safe because I would rather walk the extra 5-10mins too.

It happened either at work (most likely) where I don't have the choice to park away from others or on my drive as the postie etc have to walk past it to get to the door. Saying that I try to get lifts as often as possible to risk the exposure my car has to the work's car park (previous car had dents in almost every panel due to other drivers not caring about their car, or mine)

I know it's one of those things that is part of being a motorist but still makes my blood boil. We work hard to pay for our pride and joys and then Inge like this happens.

Ah well, that's life I suppose. ds'pinky'3 is right. It's there to be driven

I would purposely park next to you.

This is the exact reason I walk to work. My work car park is horrible.
