Chassis compromise may be the biggest factor looking at the way it is on the kerb
But everythings fixable- how hard did you hit

Glad everyone was ok - I'd get a new one if you can - once mashed, etc...... you want to know that baby will behave as she should when flying around........

          Regards,

If that's not fixable (in insurance terms), the world's gone mad.

First accident ive ever had, been driving 26yrs, still feeling a bit jellyfied! Lol. Quite scary at the time.. and cried when I watched the car being dragged on the road up onto the recovery truck..

Yes- being behind the wheel of a car when its out of control is a weird feeling, frightening
Almost like "I know whats gonna happen" even if it could be serious injury
Ive had a few in my time. Ice is worst. Turn the steering any way and the vehicle will just go where it wants, and apply brakes- nothing happens
Least you were OK- Cars can be repaired or get a new one

It was amazing really, all that damage and I only suffered a small cut from the flying window glass....

The Highways Agency (who attended) were the first to comment on how well the DS3 stood up to the impacts (hit both the central barrier and the barrier on the nearside of the Motorway and apparently was brushed by an articulated as I slid across the nearside lane). The chap at the body shop said the same when I went to collect some bits as well. He compared the DS3 to a Focus and the damage on the Focus appeared less but the driver had been cut out as the frame had twisted.

I was v lucky and grateful the car did it's job. I think BeefMasta said the DS3 has a good EuroNCap safety rating...

That looks very repairable to me, did roughly the same thing in a car years ago.

Important thing at the end of the day is that everybody was alright
