Yeah Deffo wipe of the excess lubricant on the window it will be fine. I'd be furious too about the state of the car, which dealership is this ?

Yeah Ill go out and do it , ... It was Tates in Portslade Southern Cross, the bloke in the reception was fine and like i say they are doing a full valet but still, i said i spend 6 hrs cleaning and looking after my car to keep it nice i dont expect to collect it like this! .. he said they want to give a good service and to want customers to go back to them and he would be lookin into it ......

Dear me Pinky- that's certainly not on. Why don't they realise this is not only a mode of transport, and investment, but a friend too!
Glad you went back and had a few words- was this Tates?
All I can say that when I go in, will say "No wash/ No clean please"

Thats a really good idea , ......... i wonder what would have happened if i had a ds3club sticker in the window ??!!! !!..... need to get me some ! its difficult to complain when the bloke in reception was being really nice and apologetic but it wasnt on so next time i know what to say !!

Hi, like Andy, I have made up signs often in every window saying 'do not wash this car' - and I take the car in, in immaculate condition, well as near as I can get it - one garage the garage manager came to chat to me as the lads in the workshop as they were all debating how my car was so deep in reflections!

However, my main trick is when they ask me to sign to say I will pay for the service (when dropping car off) is to get them to sign to say they will pay for a full high end single stage correction (or multi-stage if needed) if they choose to wash my car - I have shown them £600 prices for this (I give them a nice formal price list up front) - never ever has anoyne washed it.

If you want me to do a quote to give your car a single stage correction let me know! That will scare them to death, I do know a Audi driver and the workshop paid me to correct their &*^$ up!, lol.
