  • Diffrence between THP 156 and 206?

Hey guys, I got a little question about the diffrence between a DS3 THP 156 and 207. What exactly is the diffrence between these two models? I get that it has more horsepowers etc, but is that becauset he 156 THP version is tuned down, or is it other parts that make the diffrence? Would be cool if someone could help me understand this a bit better

      Others can fill the gaps:
BHP, Lowered, wheels (Size/style) , turbo, ECU Map, exhaust(Think) brake calipers, to start

Oh- and at one stage a THP 155 was pushing £19k and the Racing £25.5K in the showrooms

      So about £6500 smackers

The 207THP is only found in the Racing. Other than that, the only significant changes are a remap and a different turbo.

The gear box is much better too, oh and I believe the handbrake is uprated as well. There are a lot of changes both in your face and more subtle, I had a THP 150 for 14 months and have had the racing for a year, and although the THP is an fantastic car in so many ways, the racing does give a very different, more exhilerating driving experience.

When they are not breaking down of course! >.<

The engine feels much better now, sharper, more aggressive, but they have merely cured a symptom of the problem (superknock) not addressed the cause.

So it will be going back to have further work done, I'm just giving it a week to thoroughly test it.

Oh and to continue with the differences - don't forget the Carbon Fibre bodykit/inside trim.

Fuds the gear box is the exact same unit in both cars. Maybe because the more powerful engine and quicker acceleration it just felt different?

Are you sure? as its definitely better, much tighter and smoother, and I read a post listing actually differences and gear box was one of them.
