  • 1st service done

Had the car in for its first service today, 2 years. Cost 300 euro so about 256 pounds. I had pulled everything off and put the engine bay back to stock for the service and raised the suspension up so they could get it on the lift. When picking it up chatted with the Manager/Salesman/Head mechanic and the 1 mechanic. Small family dealership Car had no problems and they commented that the car looked and sounded good with the mechanic saying he also had some Musketier tuning parts on his car. Mechanic then told me if the car hesitates I should cap off the rear PVC line Which led us to talking about eng mods and they both didn't care if I had left all the stuff on! wouldn't bother them and would still have honored any warranty work as the things I had done, Catch can rear PVC delete, were better for the engine anyway! and the forge pipes and intake do not do much anyway except look good.
Needless to say leaving it all on next time. Not that it matters anymore as the warranty is about up.

Now to put everything back on and get it as low as it will go.

Good Luck, The way the DS3 is designed I can't figure out a good looking static setup

16's and 17's put my car on its arse ( The sills scrape ) but then I'm stuck with arch gap, 18's fill the gap but then the whole car is raised. To combat this I had custom springs made to go on the Bilstein struts but even going as low just enough to let the wheels turn it still looks high off the ground
