Thinking of DS3R

thinking of changing my ds3 to a Racing in black and orange!!

cant quite decide what i should do so going for a test drive this weekend and should help me on the decision!

you guys got any thoughts?

They have the old THP engine.

I'd stay well away if I was you.

I never drove that engine but if you search the forum there are a lot of horror stories

yeah i know its quite off putting when you hear them, i currently got the 110hdi remapped but fancying a change. if not ds3R looks like something different.

I've owned both the 150thp and the ds3 racing, I loved both cars, but I would never recommend either of them. The thp last 10 months before engine issues started and the racing lasted two days before I noticed the well documented super knock. The car lasted 4 months until it required a new engine which I rejected.
My situation extends back to November and I am still paying for a car that I am in touching distance of rejecting.
Again, loved the car really did but if you fancy a car with some serious power go German as they know what they're doing.

It only takes a quick search of the forum to see that at some point every racing has had issues and think what it will cost when the warranty runs out.

If I could have my time again I would have bought a diesel, that way I would probably still be enjoying owning one!

Cheers man, that's as much as I need to know now!! It's put me right off. Looks like few more tweaks to my ds3 and keep hold of it.
