  • Tubeless Tyre

I bought a Holts tyre repair kit today as I have a fair bit of travelling coming up soon.

When I read the directions is states for tubeless tyres only.

They make tyres without inner tubes now? Does anyone know if the potenza's are tubeless?

As far as I know car tyres haven't had tubes for a long time, did yours not come with a compressor/goo tube ?

Pedal cycles, and Motorcycles with spoked wheels generally have tubes - well my old Harley does

Way back I think one of mates had a tube fitted in a tyre on his first car as he couldn't afford a new tyre. Not 100% on that though

I bought one of them kits last weekend as when i came to go out on me bike (motorbike) for a blast over the peak district i discovered the rear tyre was flat - damn.. I had never used one of these kits before but i did do a search on youtube on how to use it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dSrHKXyHJ8 Took me about 3 minutes to repair - well worth carrying one in the boot as an emergency kit, have done about 500 miles since the fix:cool:

I thought inner tubes were for fun splashing/floating in the sea or pool
