Knob warmer

My knob's really cold first thing in the morning.
It does look nice...everyone says so, but it's just damn cold. The Mrs doesn't like touching it till it's done a few miles and got some warmth to it.

Anybody have any recommendations for heating up their gear leaver first thing?

Best thing to do is just be balls'y and hold onto it for all it's worth. No matter how much it hurts, how much your eyes water, just keep hold of it and move your fingers round the end to get it to an acceptable level.

If all else fails, get someone to hold it for you.

HEHe same as the metal trim on the steering wheel!! for the first time ever well at least since I had rag tops I have taken to wearing gloves first thing

In my C2 my missus knitted a cover like the ones above.

On the DS3, I just put it in second and leave it there :-)
