Genuine citroen snow chains

Hello all,

I can get snow chains through Citroen but it would take 1 week for them to get to me heres the prices for 16" £59.99 plus postage which due to weight could be up £10.00. Citroen dont supply chains for the 17" I think its due to the overall tyre size.

I wonder what proportion of the DS3's owned by members on this site have the 17" wheels that can't be fitted with snow chains?

I always thought snow chains were illegal in the UK, lets face it, the roads in this country are shagged enough without allowing chains too!!

Mind you, the tailslide round an ice covered roundabout this morning on the standard fitment Bridgestones was awesome if a little sphincter puckering!!! I'm thinking the 16" wheels would have been a better choice for handling if not looks

I've got the 16" and had no probs with snow or ice yet - but I guess there's always time!
