  • Difference between dstyle and Dsport

    Hi all

Getting my Dsport on Friday ^_^

Is it the right choice been told the style is much more comfortable

    Is that true?

I've only had DSport+ models and didn't regret my choices, they are great and to be honest I thought the differences were in equipment levels etc rather than the style being more comfortable....

The only extra comfort is leather seats? Well I much prefer my dsport+ over my previous style+

Would have thought if you are getting the car on Friday it's a bit late in the day to be having second thoughts!! Seriously though, I reckon you will have made the right choice. i've got the DStyle+ and am generally pretty pleased with it. Economy is my big priority as i do some big mileages (20K pa) I am currently averaging about 58mpg which i reckon would be fairly difficult in the 110/115 bhp models. However, having said that I will be in envy of you with the better acceleration, the HiFi system and the leather.

It's all lies, the DSport seats hug you, allowing for much more spirited driving

My average mpg is 56, this is with quite excited acceleration and top speeds and with the AC on all the time, it did go up recently a bit from 54mpg thanks to my drive to Southport and back via Manchester

More than happy with that economy and not having to be gentle with it !

We bought a DSport 115 a month ago.

Still cannot believe the engine is only 115bhp as it really does shift its back side and will make you grin! Very little body roll and the handling is firm but not harsh in any way.

We are averaging 56mpg with my heavy foot and enjoying the newness of having a sporty car again. We drove gently for a couple of days and the mpg went up to 65. 70mph is around 1800rpm in 6th .... really quiet and unstressed.

Seats have really good lateral support and adjust in all directions. Must admit I still haven't found a perfectly comfortable position yet.

The Ds3 has exceeded our expectations, far faster than we imagined it would be and really enjoying driving it.

Everything was noticeable tight when new (13 miles on the clock when we picked it up) and the gear change really stiff. Having done 2k miles now its loosened up nicely.

My only gripe about the entire car is the roof being tin foil thin in the centre with no internal support bar. The roof flex's with a light touch and I'm super careful when polishing it.

                      You're gonna love it

One of the better standard fit units I've had in various cars I've owned. Decent bass from a sub in the drivers side panel in the boot and not suffering any distortion.

I'm not into amps and head units, so others will be better qualified to advise you properly

Maybe my preconceptions of a Citroen are a factor but the car in every way has far exceeded what I expected from it.

Judging by the enthusiasm for DS3's by other owners on this site, you aren't going to be disappointed in any way!!
