  • Cup Holders

    Hey all!

As you can probably tell I'm soooo excited to get my DS3 DStyle+ in 3 weeks!!!!!!! And that's the reasoning behind all these questions.

Have citroen modified the new DS3's from the old ones? Iv heard the new ones now have cup holders and the connecting box in the DStyle is very exciting! I can't find any new changes to the new cars on the net. Anyone know of the differences?

    Thanks

Mines gonna be a 63 plate and I've heard they changed a lot to the car when produced after July this year.

I've not heard that but could be wrong, re cup holder, all DS3's without a centre arm rest have them I think

Surely you can't fit a drink in there? Looks tiny could just be the photo like

Nope just the connecting box which I posted a thread about, in regards to the cupholder (sore spot for many!) you will only find it in a DS3 without the arm rest (part of the City Signature of Plus Pack).

Thanks Biggie, I did wonder what else had been changed on the models, now we know

I would suggest it's cans only, I like a Pepsi Max so it's fine for me but there were some pics posted before of owners trying to use them with water bottles, large coffee cups etc and it's not suitable for those. With the DSport+ you don't have any other places for cup holders so this is definitely better than nothing

what size is the holder, take it only holds Coke can sized stuff?

I believe it's only the things we've already heard about like the addition of standard Connecting box on DStyle models etc. So don't think they've actually changed that much.

OK I am fussy about my DS3 and can't stand eating or drinking in the car.

Cup holders are just for Fat Yanks diving SUV's in traffic jams on freeways!

I don't need or want them.

Oh and that armrest for the DS3 may be useful for an auto C3 but unless you have short arms it gets in the way of driving more than its worth.
