Hi everyone just a bit concerned about my ds3 as when I put my foot down and accelerate there is a funny smell ie the smell is like burning like a new engine however I've done 40,000 miles now it's a 1.6 petrol vti 120 thanks

Can you nail it down any further? Does it smell like burning oil?
Might be worth stopping when the smell is strong and opening the bonnet to see if you can locate it.
