  • Centre Console trim

    Hi all!

Car went in today for its first service and have asked them to look at a piece of trim in the cubby area of the centre console (ahead of the gear leaver) which has come away. They've called me and given various excuses as to why they won't do it but I'm adamant it should come under warranty (only done 3000 miles). What do you guys think?

Mine has completely moved back about 15 m&m towards the hand brake and left a gap near the stereo 17k miles and its slowly wearing and getting problems :-/ I'm chucking mine in for a warranty repair next month

Trim would normally fall under wear and tear as far as the warranty goes but it will depend and the Dealer and their standing with Citroen.

That trim is just clipped on at the red points in the pick. You could just hit it with the palm of you hand and try to get back where it belongs or pull it off straight backwards and push it back on.

Shouldn't as long as you do not start trying to put some serious hurt on it!

Looking at the removal guide, shows once the clips are unclipped, slide the console cover backwards (towards the rear of the vehicle) to remove. refitting is reverse of that.
