I still prefer ads that actually show the item in question rather than marching people and scenery followed by a quick glimpse of the car

I believe in marketing terms it's called 'the hook' and the car at the end fulfills the 'hero shot' requirements.

My fav is still the 'The Twins' ad, clever idea which is well executed.
