120 vti auto mpg

So guys what sort of mpg are you getting in your auto ? 29mpg about town seems to be my best so far aand 40mpg on a long run.

I'm getting around 32mpg in town - and 40mpg on a long run. That's still a lot better than my last car, an auto Ford Fiesta 1.4 Titanium.

I'm pretty sure most people that buy a new car take the manufacturer's mpg figures with a very large pinch of salt! I know I do. I already know that when it comes to petrol autos - I'm not going to get anywhere near their fictitious "pluck a number out of thin air" miles per gallon! I could possibly get nearer to their figures IF I was to drive pathetically slow & with a very light foot. But I'm not likely to do that in a DS3 now am I... especially in 'Sports Mode' !!! :-)
